Blood Orange Soda

Ingredients
**Allow 3-5 days for each batch of soda to be ready for consumption.
For a 1-gallon quantity of soda, which will fill 10 12oz bottles:
The juice of enough blood oranges to make 3/4 of a gallon (96oz)
3 cups water
3/4 cup honey
1/4 t brewer's yeast
Preparation
Mix all ingredients into large container and stir until honey and yeast are dissolved.
Allow to sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
Bottle, label with name & date, then allow to sit at room temperature another 24 hours.
Refrigerate for another 24 hours minimum.
Grapefruit Soda

Ingredients
**Allow 3-5 days for each batch of soda to be ready for consumption.
For a 1-gallon quantity of soda, which will fill 10 12oz bottles:
The juice of enough grapefruits to make 3/4 of a gallon, about 25
Top off the rest of the gallon with filtered water, leaving room in container to stir
1 cup honey
1/4 t brewer's yeast
Preparation
Mix all ingredients into large container until honey and yeast are dissolved.
Allow to sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
Bottle, then allow to sit at room temperature another 24 hours.
Alabama Slammer

1 ounce Southern Comfort
1 ounce Amaretto
1/2 ounce Sloe Gin
Dash of lemon juice
Maraschino cherry
Shake the liquid ingredients with ice. Strain into an ice filled glass. Garnish with the cherry and lemon slice.
