In the car between wineries in Temecula, I was flipping through the first issue of edible San Diego magazine (excellent publication!). I saw an ad for RC Livestock and remember seeing their name on the menu at The Linkery. Might as well stop by... the visit turned out to be much more interesting than I expected.

Macadamia nuts that is. Jim Russell grows thousands of pounds of these and is president of the California Macadamia Society, so he knows a lot about what's going on in the world of macadamia. Video tour below... The California Farm Bureau wrote an article about him too.
