Sardines are a local, plentiful, and tasty fish. But getting your hands on fresh sardines isn't as easy as you'd think. Once we thought about serving them in the restaurant, we went out looking looking for a source. And since then, I've felt like a detective on the hunt. One of my clues sent us out in a canoe on Mission Bay.
