You may have noticed that environmental films are popular lately. There are a smattering of them all coming up soon at the Landmark: Crude (lawsuit against Texaco for contamination), Fuel (commercial feeling alternative energy movie), and Earth Days (history of US environmental movement).

Sometimes so many films at once can start to feel like propaganda instead of fact, especially because films more than most other types of media, can be very powerful emotionally. Just keep your eyes open and use your best judgement, look both ways when you cross the street, and everything should be just fine.
