Those of you who have known us for a while might remember the Local Spiny Lobster Risotto we offered during lobster season last winter from October through March. Well believe it or not, it's October again!! Our friendly trapper/fisherman Johnny Law reminded me recently that the season opens today, so with any luck, we'll probably have lobster on the menu again starting tomorrow the 9th. (Come on, we have to give Christy and her team at least 24 hours to figure out what to do with it!)

We've decided to do something different with it this year however, since our seafood paella has also been popular and we don't want to take if off the menu. So we're going to try out a creamy lobster dip which you can enjoy as a starter, as well as offering a paella-for-two which will include some of the buttery lobster tail meat.

Either way, you can look forward to another six months of this delicious sea creature!
