This Saturday, Dennis and I will be heading downtown to the Little Italy Farmers Market, or "Mercato" as they appropriately call it. It just started up in June of this year (like us!) and aims to become the primary downtown destination for fresh, local foods. We were invited to join as a prepared foods vendor, and looks like we'll be the only one offering fresh "street" seafood. We plan to serve our grilled San Diego sardines and fresh sea urchin - our two most unique, local, and sustainable food that have put us on the culinary map so far.
