Friday, May 15th is the official bike to work day. We've been chatting with the guys at Velo Cult about the program they're starting where anyone who bikes to a participating restaurant on 30th Street (then North Park, then San Diego, then THE WORLD!) will receive 10% off their entire check. Even before we get the cool stickers for the restaurant window, and even before you get your wheel spoke cards listing those businesses that are participating, just ask for the discount and point out your bike outside and we'll give you 10% off your bill. We'll also extend this offer to you if you took the bus (just show us your bus ticket), even if it would be crazy to extend it to people who walk to the restaurant (so we're not extending the discount to walkers, sorry). So after you bike to work on Friday (and any day after that), stop by the Rocket for some $2 tapas and a drink.
