And here's more info about the beers!
Airdale Afterburner Amber
A beautifully balanced amber ale. Combining a rich, malty aroma and flavor with the subtle, lingering character of perle and amarillo hops, Notes of caramel and toffee invade the palate while finishing with a smooth bitterness. At 5.3% alcohol, Afterburner is a supremely drinkable beer while maintaining a full-flavored approach.
Green Flash Hop-less Ancient Gruit (ON CASK)
A collaboration brew between Brewmaster Chuck Silva and Ben Spencer, from Magnolia Brewing. No hops were used in brewing this Old World Gruit. Instead we used Marsh Rosemary, Sweet Gale, Yarrow Flowers, Rose Hips, Heather Tips, and Elder Flowers. These herbs provide the bittering balance as well as a complimentary herbal sweetness to the rich barley sugar character. The malt make up is very similar to a big brown ale and the aroma is both sweet and savory making it a great option for pairing with many flavorful dishes.
Airdale Homecoming Spiced Porter
A classic brown porter spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. It starts with hints of espresso on the nose and a light malt sweetness with faint traces of chocolate and vanilla. The Holiday spices are faint, allowing the porter's flavor to dominate while the spices enhance the chocolate notes. A light-bodied beer, the finish is smooth with a subtle hoppy bitterness.
Our other beers on draft at the moment are AleSmith IPA- the best in the world, according to some- Ballast Point's Even Keel Pale Ale, and the Lightning Brewery Pilsner.
Also, just a reminder that we still have some seats left for our super cool Beer Wars screening this Sunday, November 8th! Call 619-255-7049 to reserve a spot.
