Fall is in the air and we're celebrating that fact at Sea Rocket Bistro with our good friends from Airdale Brewing Company. We'll be featuring three of their beers on tap this weekend and Chef Christy will be preparing a special menu to go with them. Three course including beer for just $25!

My grandpa got diabetes when he was in his 20s, so growing up, I remember seeing how he lived with it. I was impressed to see how disciplined he was with his diet and he lived into his 70s with it. Diabetes has become more common since then because of the way we eat. At Sea Rocket Bistro, we're trying to do something to change that by serving whole, healthy, local foods bought directly from farmers and fishermen.

Join us at Sea Rocket Bistro on Sunday May 10th for a special prix fixe menu option in honor of mothers everywhere! Christy will whip up some off-the-menu treats to create a delicious 3-course meal, and we'll have our regular rapidly expanding menu available as well. Most of you may have been told that small business owners appreciate it when you are their customer, but I just wanted to say that it's not a theoretical thing. It's absolutely true. I think some businesses may loose sight of this occasionally, but trust me it's always there. If you're a small business owner, you know what I mean.

Events-A-Plenty Coming Up

Hello local wine lovers! On Thursday, March 26th at 7pm, Sea Rocket Bistro will be hosting a 5-Course Wine Tasting featuring a selection of different varietals from our friends at Fallbrook Winery. I went up to the winery back in October to check out the grape-crushing process and learn more about the varietals that are grown on the estate as well as the types of wines made there.
